Combine broth, vinegar, olive oil, soy sauce, maple syrup, Wright’s® Liquid Smoke, garlic, paprika, onion powder and bay leaf in a resealable plastic bag.
Add carrots and marinate 2 hours to overnight.
Place carrots, marinade and ½ cup water in 10-inch skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer gently 10 to 15 minutes, turning carrots occasionally, until carrots are just tender. If liquid evaporates add a little water.
If desired, carrots can be finished on grill or grill pan.
Serve carrots in hot dog buns and top with your favorite toppings.
