butter

2 Tbsp.
all-purpose flour

1 cup
milk

1/2 tsp.
Wright's® Mesquite Liquid Smoke (May substitute with Wright)

1 cup
cheddar cheese (shredded)

1 dash
ground red pepper
Directions
In small saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk and Wright's® Liquid Smoke; cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and begins to boil. Remove from heat; add cheese and pepper, stirring until cheese melts. Serve over hot cooked vegetables, pasta, rice, poultry or fish.
