Smokey Buffalo Wings

  • 12 chicken wings (split and tips removed)
  • 1/2 cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Wright's® Mesquite Liquid Smoke (May substitute with Wright)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • Carrot and Celery sticks
  • Prepared Blue Cheese Dressing


Broil chicken wings for 10 to 12 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Meanwhile, in small saucepan, heat hot sauce, Wright's® Liquid Smoke, butter, chicken broth and salt to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 1 minute. Dissolve cornstarch in water, slowly pour into simmering mixture, stirring constantly. Heat until mixture thickens and begins to boil; remove from heat. In bowl, combine cooked wings and hot sauce mixture, tossing to coat well. Arrange wings and vegetable sticks on serving platter. Serve with blue cheese dressing for dipping.
