Shrimp & Sausage Jambalaya

Ingredients

  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 large green pepper (chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 cups rice (cooked)
  • 2 cups large shrimp (cooked and cleaned (about 1 pound))
  • 2 cups sausage (cubed and cooked (about 1- 1/4 lbs))
  • 1 16 oz. can peeled tomatoes (chopped (undrained))
  • 1 tsp. Wright's® Mesquite Liquid Smoke (May substitute with Wright)
  • 2 Tbsp. green onions (chopped)

Directions

In large skillet, over medium heat, cook onion, pepper, garlic and red pepper in butter until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except green onions. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Garnish with green onions. Serve immediately.
