green pepper (chopped)
garlic cloves (minced)
2 15 oz. cans
1 8 oz. can
Wright's® Mesquite Liquid Smoke (May substitute with Wright)
1 1/2 tsp.
ground black pepper
In large saucepan, over medium-high heat, brown beef and cook onion, green pepper, and garlic, stirring occasionally to break up meat; pour off excess fat. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, Wright's® Liquid Smoke, Italian seasoning and pepper. Heat to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 1 hour. Use as a sauce over hot cooked pasta or rice.
